As a Cloud Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will be a key player in designing and occasionally implementing cloud-based solutions that align with our clients' business and technical requirements. You'll partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You'll be seen as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring that our solutions meet clients' objectives and support their growth.

Your day at NTT DATA

• Design and architect cloud-based systems that guarantee high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Work with sales teams to provide pre-sales technical support, ensuring seamless integration of cloud environments with on-premises solutions.
• Drive the optimization and security of our cloud infrastructure, crafting migration strategies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and project managers, to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Develop and maintain our cloud governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring that best practices are followed.
• Handle client proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, guiding these projects from conception to delivery with the necessary resources.
• Be the go-to expert on cloud technologies and architectures, from assessing existing systems to defining and enforcing security best practices.
• Instrumental in supporting sales teams by offering insights during the scope of work determinations, product pricing, and rFP/rFI responses.
• Prepare technical design documents and supporting project implementations to ensure a smooth transition to the delivery team.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• A comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture patterns, including microservices, serverless computing, containers, and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure technologies such as virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and load balancing.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks like GdPr, HIPAA, or PCI-dSS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure resource Manager, or Google Cloud deployment Manager.
• Extensive experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures for complex systems and applications.
• Strong client engagement skills and technical consulting aptitude.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
