About the Role

Position Summary: Supervises the activities of the Casino gaming table such as Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice and related services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise gaming table operations for Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice and related table games.
• Observe and recognize payout accuracy, dealer behavior and associated activities.
• Make decisions based on sound judgment regarding gaming rules and regulations.
• Utilize customer service skills, exercising authority and discretion to satisfy guests consistent with Celebrity Connections standards.
• Supervise, motivate, develop and manage an international team of Dealers; administer disciplinary action through coaching and counseling.
• Learn financial aspects of casino operation, identify expense reductions through cost control, and manage headcount to support vessel business needs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Use computers and software such as Excel and Word to perform job duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years dealer experience with Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice and other related table games (shipboard experience preferred).
• Satisfactory completion of Gaming Board/Commission approved dealer school.
• Ability to perform mental arithmetic calculations quickly involving monetary units and calculating odds and percentages.
• Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function and the ability to supervise and manage staff.
• Completion of high school or GED required; university degree preferred.
