Senior Health Care R&D Executive

Job Summary

This is an mid-level research position in product formulations. This position will require a motivated individual that demonstrates strong collaboration, multi tasks handling and communication skills. Daily activities include initiate new formulation, review formulation property and ensure stability of formulation. Also responsible for data entry, documentation, and communicates line manager for critical issue when necessary. Interacts directly with internal and external functions.

Job Description:

• Lead & develops commercially ready products. Explore & research new raw materials and process technology to apply in innovation products and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Design experimental & process for scaling-up in production to meet product specification and fit with manufacturing facilities/capabilities. Including the first production monitoring.
• Support cross functional teams, identify root cause and provide solutions.
• Works with cross functional team, demonstrate and communicates effectively
• Demonstrate best in class benchtop work.
• Prepare and support documents related to R&D work to other functions e.g. BOM, Specifications, Reports, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Research & Development, Product Formulation, Product Development, or related functions within FMCG, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, Food, or Consumer Products industries.
• Strong knowledge of formulation development, ingredient functionality, product stability, and scale-up processes.
• Experience in conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing results, and translating findings into commercially viable products.
• Familiarity with product regulatory requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong project management and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, data management, and technical documentation.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
