Engineering Technician II

What you’ll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and facility equipment.
• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution systems, BMS, DCIM, and ELV systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and respond to equipment alarms and operational issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical and facility-related faults and support emergency response activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and operational logs using CAFM/CMMS systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with engineers, contractors, and service providers.
• Support 24/7 facility operations and participate in shift-based activities as required.
• Promote a strong safety culture and comply with site procedures and operational standards.

What you’ll have

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting electrical maintenance, facility operations, or Data Center environments.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, distribution systems, and building management systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and equipment inspections.
• Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Experience supporting Data Center or other mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of BMS, DCIM, ELV, HVAC, and fire & life safety systems.
• Experience working in a shift-based operational environment.
