About the Role

Tencent Cloud Enterprise is a private cloud offering a range of cloud services. The Product Solution Architect is a technical role in the cloud product department, responsible for understanding underlying cloud service implementations and working with pre-sales/sales to design solutions based on Tencent Cloud Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Solution design: communicate with customers on technical solution design, work with sales on budget and requirements, produce product configurations and combined cloud solution plans addressing industry pain points and competitive technical features.
• Assist presales/sales to follow up projects, and identify and track product and service risks during the bidding process.
• Channel support: provide cloud guidance and training for local channel construction, assist channel sales and presales in project follow-up, and produce standard solutions.
• Requirement tracking: act as a link between customers and product managers to track features from inception to release, provide updates and feedback to customers, and ensure timely feature delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience as an industry IT architect or in pre-sales/consulting with strong solution architecture and communication skills.
• Preferred: 3+ years' experience as a software developer or architect in R&D roles with cloud-technical experience.
• Strong knowledge in one or more of: cloud computing IaaS architecture and implementation (virtualization, SDN, distributed storage, load balancing), database technologies.
• Understanding of large-customer IT infrastructure (e.g., multi-datacenter deployments, active-active and disaster recovery designs, global IT for multinational groups).
• Experience with big data, middleware, security is a plus.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to clearly express architectural intent and produce technical documents.
• Strong communication, execution ability and teamwork skills.
• Experience cooperating with ISV/SI partners and project management; partner development experience.
• Preferred: Tencent Cloud Certification or equivalent qualifications.
