Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the hotel's engineering systems during the night shift.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.
• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and take immediate corrective actions.
• Record all maintenance activities, incidents, and outstanding issues in the engineering logbook.
• Coordinate with Security and other departments during emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and fire & life safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Prepare handover reports for the day shift Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel engineering or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general maintenance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems independently.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic English communication is an advantage.
