Plant Costing Manager (Attractive salary & benefits offer)

About the Role

Lead and provide oversight to accounting for the plant, including inventory, manufacturing costing, fixed assets and related reporting. Partner with global accounting and cross-functional teams to support financial planning, controls and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Inventory, manufacturing cost, fixed assets recording and analysis; establish and maintain inventory standard cost estimates, bill of materials and material master data in the ERP system.
• Lead inventory accounting and cost of goods reporting activities, ensuring accuracy of inventory levels through input from cross-functional teams.
• Budgeting and forecasting: assist global accounting in preparation of financial planning/analysis and annual budgets; prepare monthly forecasts, analyze variances versus budget/actual and provide explanations to executive team and board.
• Develop and maintain processes and internal controls in inventory, costing/manufacturing and freight accounting.
• Lead fixed asset activities and assist in general accounting tasks, monitor internal controls and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the Finance team by developing functional strategies, setting standards and implementing new processes to achieve organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships across all levels of management and foster a continuous learning and improvement environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• At least 3 years' experience as Cost Accountant / Cost Controller or Plant Controller in a manufacturing firm and familiarity with international working culture.
• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Thai native and good command of English.
• Strong accounting (GAAP) and general ledger experience.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare meaningful reports for management.
• Understands how daily activities relate to business strategy and objectives; demonstrates speed and flexibility in responding to change.
• Able to work or relocate to Nakhonsawan province.
