About the Company

Bangkok | Full-time [Hybrid] | ExpresSo NB (PTT Group). ExpresSo NB (PTT Group) is seeking a mid-to-senior-level Investor / Principal to join the Venture Capital team focused on climate tech and energy-related investments. The role supports PTT Group and founders building impactful businesses across global venture ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and evaluate investment opportunities across global venture ecosystems; initiate outreach, maintain accurate deal flow records, and build relationships with founders, investors, and fund managers.
• Lead end-to-end investment due diligence, including competitive analysis, valuation modeling, investment terms structuring & negotiation, and preparation of investment memos for Investment Committee approval.
• Work closely with the Portfolio Management team to monitor and support portfolio companies, and with the Venture Partnership team to create strategic opportunities with PTT Group.
• Support investment thesis development and overall venture capital investment strategy.
• Build and strengthen networks with VCs, CVCs, startups, and industry stakeholders, representing ExpresSo NB in relevant markets.
• Attend industry conferences and ecosystem events to source opportunities and stay updated on market trends.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA/master's preferred).
• Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, M&A, consulting, PE/VC, entrepreneurship, or startup leadership, with at least 4 years of exposure to energy or climate-related sectors.
• Strong interest in climate change, sustainability, and venture capital; comfortable in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
• Experience evaluating and structuring startup investments, including term sheets and shareholder agreements, is a plus.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and due diligence skills.
• Solid understanding of venture capital, private equity, and the climate/energy sector.
• Technologically agile and eager to evolve alongside a fast-changing landscape; commitment to staying at the forefront of AI integration and proactively pivoting tools and workflows to sharpen research, diligence, and investment processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial tools.
• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.
